Interim Executive Director, Elena Brokaw, outlines the history of the Museum of Ventura County with George Alger.

Brokaw describes the museum as the definitive repository of Ventura County’s history. She also discusses the Agriculture Museum in Santa Paula as well as the Tool Room art exhibition gallery at the Bell Arts Factory on Ventura Avenue.

The Museum of Ventura County celebrates, preserves and interprets the art, history and culture of Ventura County, the California Channel Islands and the surrounding region through its collections, exhibitions, events, educational programs, publications and its research library, and serves as a gathering place for the community.

Founded in 1913, The Museum of Ventura County has been discovering, preserving, interpreting, educating and celebrating since. Their collections, exhibitions and educational programs are designed to inspire curiosity and what makes Ventura County unique.
